Gerhard Schrauzer, PhD, MS, FACN, CNS
Dr. Schrauzer is internationally respected for his groundbreaking research on the biomedical aspects of vitamins and essential trace elements, notably selenium, and on his cancer prevention research. He is a Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego, where he served on the faculty from 1966 until his retirement in 1994. He has authored four books and has published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals.
Dr. Schrauzer is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition (FACN), a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and a Life-Member of the American Board of Forensic Examiners. He is also a member of: the American Chemical Society, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Institute of Nutrition, the American College of Toxicology, and the Association of Clinical Scientists.
